Refining Ricoh’s email experience
Ricoh is a global imaging and electronics company known for reliable, innovative cameras. Their GR Series, especially the GR IIIx, is loved by photographers for its compact size, professional image quality, and ability to capture real, everyday moments.
The problem: Ricoh’s existing emails were text-heavy and lacked visual appeal. They often showcased multiple products at once, making them feel more like small e-commerce newsletters rather than a creative brand experience.
My approach: I designed an email focused on one hero product: the Ricoh GR IIIx. The goal was to show what the camera can do while creating a clear visual story.
Featured the GR IIIx front and center
Highlighted its small, powerful design for street photography
Used real photo samples to show image quality
Displayed key specs in a simple, visual way
Made each section connect naturally for better flow
